Stunning Ukiyo-e and other thoughts

I've added some examples of this wonderful art form to the blog. More to come shortly. The children will add the images and add their thoughts to them.
Please add your comments.
Fraser shared the Into Books link with us this morning and took the class through this process.
Please get your lovely children to show you this link.
It reinforces the reading comprehension strategies we use.
Don't forget to add your thinking to the wall on wallwisher.

  4. Hi Room 8, it was great to see all your awesome art work at assembly on Friday! It was awesome the way you all worked so well at the art gallery to get this work completed in such a short amount of time - I really enjoyed watching you make these master pieces! (Even as I keep getting reminded if I did accidentally burn a few in the drying process!). Jo McLeod

  9. Hi Scott here. When we were in Dunedin doing our art I loved doing the inking and dyeing. I learnt that Ukiyo-e is a cartoon not just a picture.
